 As frequent readers are finding out, the NY Times has started charging for reading their content online. The first twenty articles are free, then a dizzying variety of subscription options (and workarounds) kick in. I am very reluctant to pay $15 a month to read the news, so I'm looking for other free sources. My first stops online this morning ( Read more... )

Today,  the New York Times published this article about a super deluxe, esoteric cake that some yuppie just had  to have for their spoiled brat's birthday. According to the article, only the most expensive Scandinavian restaurant in New York, Aquavit, makes Princess Cake.
